Sedona offers unique and stunning red rock landscapes and miles of pristine hiking trails.
Located in central Arizona, Sedona is home to some of the most beautiful red rock formations in the entire United States. If you're an outdoor enthusiast or avid hiker then check out this guide because Sedona is right up your alley! If you're hoping to get outside during your trip to Sedona we recommend visiting during the Spring or Fall when temperatures are most accommodating to outdoor activities. The town slows down a bit in the summer when the heat rolls in and the winter is traditionally the slowest season here.
A hiker's desert paradise.
Located in southeastern California, Joshua Tree National Park is a paradise for those who enjoy desert scenery and hiking. Avoid visiting during the summer months where temperatures during the day will often exceed triple digits. Follow the link and you will find a list of my favorite activities from my recent visit to the park along with helpful tips on how to navigate and prepare for your trip out to this desert National Park!
Valladolid's city center is the perfect place to spend an evening hanging out amongst locals
Located in the center of the Yucatan Peninsula, Valladolid is my top pick for how to experience true Mexican culture. Don't get me wrong, I love a good beach vacation to the beautiful resort towns located along the Yucatan's eastern coast. However, cities like Cancun, Tulum and Playa Del Carmen are fairly commercialized and don't offer a true glimpse into what life in Mexico is really about. Check out what Mexico really has to offer!
